Rocket Rocker Newz for 1/7/10

A Collaboration Made In.....Wonderland???

Leave it to Twitter to have the latest breaking Rock news today. Mark Hoppus of Blink 182 has been leaving some very cryptic tweets lately. Something about a collaberation. Honestly, I didn't think twice about it with the first weird tweet. But now, the light is shining and it all makes sense with his latest post:

"The song that PeteW and I collabed on is for the Alice in Wonderland soundtrack."

Fall-Out-Boy frontmant, Pete Wentz also confirmed the same info when he emailed MTV stating the the collaberation was ready for the soundtrack, which will also include a new song from All Time Low.

Disney has no official track listing for the movie's soundtrack as of yet, but they say it'll be only a few more weeks before it becomes official.

So What Is Korn's New Stuff Gonna Sound Like???

Apparently a lot like the old stuff.  At least according to Jonathan Davis in a recent interview with Blabbermouth.net.Which has me salivating for the new album now. Click HERE for the full scoop.

"Snuff" Film.....hehehe, sorry. I couldn't resist.

Slipknot has release a short film for their song "Snuff", from their latest album All Hope Is Gone. As of January 12th, you'll be able to purchase the film via iTunes. Or you watch it all you want right here:-)

Has It Really Been 20 Years of Bad Religion?

Yes, yes it has. Damn. But in honor of its 20th Anniversary since its release, Bad Religion has repressed their full-length 1990 album, Against The Grain, on vinyl.

Mastadon Is Going Hollywood

The band has signed on to write the score of a new comic book movie based in DC Comic "Jonah Hex." Rumors are rolling that Josh Brolin and Megan Fox are in lines to star in the film. Oh joy.
