Strokes New Album!!!
A fourth studio album is the the works for The Strokes, according to frontman Julian Casablancas. He says they are working day and night on the project....which amazes me considering Casablancas' own solo endevors as of late. And he reports that the band seems to have finally begun to pull in the same direction. But no matter the direction they pull, no word yet on any time-frame for the album release.
System of a Down's bassist is teasing me.
"Are you guys ready for System???" This was Shavo Odadijian's latest Twitter post.
Now rumors of a reunion have abounded since pretty much the day after the band split. Serj Tankien took off on his own, and last Novemeber 3 of the band members joined the Deftones on stage for a benefit gig for Deftone's bassist Chi Cheng (who is still in a Coma).
So I'm hoping that Shavo isn't just have a typical rocker moment and getting our hopes up in the process.

Stone Sour Recording A New Album
The band made the announcement today that they are returning to the studios to work on their newest album in 4 years. Honestly, I'm not surprised. I was getting a little worried that Corey Taylor was taking Slipknot in too soft of a direction.....that's what you have Stone Sour for Corey. They'll begin recording their 3rd album in the Blackbird Studio in Nashville with Grammy award winning producer, Nick Raskulinecz.
